Mam Tor

Posted by
Ken (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 23 December 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Ridge walk to the ancient Celtic hill fort, Mam Tor, “Mother Hill”. Dating back to three thousand years ago. The summit of the hill has impressive views of the adjacent valleys. I would have liked to show you more but the ridge remained in cloud for most of the day.

Great BW picture. The composition is appealing. Especially how the path starts and begins to curve into the clouds.
